Welcome! This site and project are a product of a new item I started making in 2016. Inspired by Madeleine Albright and her fused glass shattered glass ceiling pin made by Vivian Shimoyama, I came up with my own interpretation of the concept of a shattered glass ceiling rendered into a pin. I am proud to say that over 500 of these pins are out in the world, with more going out all the time.

In November 2018, Democratic and progressive women made a tremendous showing in the United States mid term elections, with over 100 elected to the United States House of Representatives, and many many more elected to positions throughout state and local governments throughout the nation. This site is meant to be a home base to acknowledge those women, the ones who will also be following in their footsteps, and to work to get shattered glass ceiling pins to as many of them as possible.
